Tour Itinerary
Day1: Arrivals in Delhi Namaste!!!
Arrivals at Delhi Airport. The guide will be there to pick you up and assist you till the hotel. Check in into the hotel, freshen up, relax and enjoy your free evening, take a stroll around the hotel or we’ll meet & greet or go for a dinner with those who’ve arrived. An Epic Adventure starts tomorrow !
Day2: Old Delhi City Tour
Kick off the day with an orientation to know about each other, tips and tricks about traveling in India, and what’s in store for you in this adventure. A tuk tuk ride or metro ride to the heart of Delhi, then hopping into a pedal rickshaw for touring in Old Delhi, smelling every sort of chilies & spices at Asia’s largest spice market, having a tempting & flavorful Mughlai Lunch and then a ride in Delhi Metro back to the hotel.
Day3: Travel to Agra
Free Morning to explore your bucket list places in Delhi, or you can visit a popular Sikh Temple in Cannaught place to know about Sikhism and their beautiful culture. Travel to Agra at Noon, free evening in Agra to wander around in Agra or walk around streets of Agra & get ready to explore one of the wonders of the world tomorrow.
Day4: The Taj Mahal
We explore the Taj Mahal and the ironic Agra fort in our sightseeing tour and get to see Taj Mahal from different viewpoints around it & have another delicious Lunch. Post Lunch, we start to gear up for the next 3 days of volunteering. Enjoy your free evening reminiscing about this beautiful day.
Day5: Wildlife Sos Volunteering Experience
An hour drive to outskirts of Agra to reach Wildlife SOS. We check in to volunteer house & have an orientation tour of the Sloth Bear & Elephant sanctuaries being run by them and understanding how we can help make an impact.
Day 6 : Volunteering Day 1 (For Sloth Bears)
We spent this entire day volunteering at Agra Bear rescue facility of Wildlife SOS. The schedule for the day will be provided to us in the morning when we arrive at the sanctuary, and accordingly work will be allotted to us. We’ll have a midday break with tasty homemade vegetarian lunch and carry on with our activities until 4/5pm.
Day 7 : Volunteering Day 2 (For Rescued Elephants)
Today we head towards Elephant Conservation and Care center of Wildlife SOS. We spend our day volunteering and spending time around these gentle giants knowing more about them. We start with volunteering activities in morning followed by homecooked style lunch and some more helping for these gentle giants. Please note there will be no physical interaction/touching/bathing the elephants.
Day8: Travel to Jaipur “the Pink City”
Post Breakfast, we get ready for a 6 hour drive to Jaipur and we’re in the city waiting to be explored. While on the way to Jaipur, we will stop to explore the biggest and largest Step Wells in the country in a small village called Abhaneri. After the stepwell, we’ll continue on our drive to Jaipur. The evening is free and the guides will help you with some amazing recommendations for food around.
Day9: Exploring Jaipur Sightseeing Day
Get! Set! Go! It’s time to explore Jaipur and why it’s known as the “pink city” and the charm of it’s beautiful forts and palaces. We spent half day sightseeing and later head to the bazaars. We’ll give you free time after sightseeing to spend the evening in local bazaars where you can have a full- on local shopping experience, buy your favorite things and testing out your negotiation skills.
Day10: Nawalgarh Craft Workshop & Eco-lodge Stay
Today, we’ll get a hands on experience at one of the crafts of Rajasthan called Block Printing. The guests will have an opportunity to learn mud-resist printing & natural indigo dyeing. The workshop will be for approx 3 hours at nearby village. Post workshop, we’ll take a 4hr drive to Nawalgarh, which is also known as the Heritage city. The next 2 nights will be spent at an Eco & sustainable family run homestay.
Day11: Explori Ngnawalgarh Walking Tour & Cooking Class
Fondly known as the “Land of Haveli’s”, Nawalgarh is a significant part of Shekhawati region. Today, we’ll take a walking tour of the town with a local guide and understand the local insights, culture and the story behind so many haveli’s present in this region. After the walking tour, we’ll have a cooking class where we’ll have a chance to pick fresh seasonal produce from the organic farm at our lodge and learn to cook with local ingredients & recipes.
Day12: Exploring Shekhawati Mandawa Sightseeing & Musical Evening
The Haveli’s don’t stop here! There’s more beautiful frescos waiting to be explored in the nearby towns & villages. We’ll do a half day sightseeing tour of Mandawa where some famous Bollywood movies have been filmed, and so many mesmerising ancestral haveli’s are present. We spend the rest of the evening at the lodge listening to the traditional folk music from a local artist from the village and tasting another delicious vegetarian home-cooked meal.
Day13: Churi Ajitgarh
After 2 days of exploring the region of Shekhawati, today we’ll check out from the lodge and spend the night at a actual restored haveli in a nearby village to give you the experience of how the life inside of these Haveli’s was like back in the day. A small local activity will be planned during the day and the rest of the day will be free to walk around, relax by the pool, reading a book at library, or stargazing from the rooftop.
Day14: Travel to Delhi
After immersing in the rural side of Rajasthan, getting to know so many insights of culture and bags full of shopping, it’s time to head back to the bustling city of Delhi. The drive will be approximately 5-6 hours with a stop in between for lunch & toilets. Sit back, relax and enjoy the countryside drive.
Day15: Goodbyes & More
Time to say goodbyes, hugs to each other. This experience of a lifetime ends here and time to take back home happy memories. Check-outs from hotels is at noon. If you want to spend more time with us and experience something entirely unique, we have some exciting information on the next page.
Day15-18: Varanasi Add-on 4 Days/ 3 Nights
The next 4 days, we are taking you to the Oldest Living City in the world, called Benares or Varanasi, situated on the banks of Holy river Ganges.
These 4 days are filled with experiencing the Hindu culture firsthand, walking in the oldest streets of India, sunrise/sunset boat rides on Ganges, going into the local temples, attending morning/evening Aarti rituals and so much more that we can’t even put it into words.
We’ll take a 1.5 hour flight to Varanasi and another flight back to Delhi on the last day. Please reach out to us for a detailed itinerary and prices for this Add-on.
